Charlestown USA Mall

Originally a manufacturing plant during the first and second World Wars, the plant was called Savage Arms. In the 1950’s the plant was bought and began to produce computer parts. The location was not converted into a mall until 1982. The mall closed in 1991 and the site has remained abandoned since. In 2020 a mysterious fire began in the building and soon engulfed the majority of the structure. There are remains of what existed before, but much of the urban exploration experience will only be available through videos taken before August of 2020. When deciding when to visit, remember that these buildings are past their expiration date, and their collapse is only a matter of time.
