Rochester Subway

The Rochester Subway opened mostly as a streetcar service with short underground sections in 1927. Plans were made to improve and expand the system, however the projects were all scrapped. The line stopped all service in 1956. In modern times, the subway system is a popular urban exploring destination. This location should be an easy first step in wandering through the detritus of deteriorating architecture. Some have argued that the tunnels should be filled in with dirt, better get a move on before they get their way.
