Willard Asylum

Willard Asylum for the Chronic Insane was opened in 1869. It’s first patient, Mary Rote had been chained to a wall without a bed and without clothes for ten years. The rumors imply life may have gotten better, but not much. Regular flogging, ice baths, and electro-convulsive treatment were employed for any problematic behavior. Parts of the facility are still in use by a nearby corrections facility, this may be a destination that requires some experience.
